Hannah’s Studios is located at 312 Adams Street in downtown Fairmont, W.V. It’s the home of Hannah’s (Hannah’s Clay Creations) private studio as well as operates as a public studio with a variety of ceramic classes offered.

“What classes will be offered here?”
As of right now Hannah’s Studios offers three types of classes. I’ll be adding more variety over the next few months so check back here an on social media for updates!
Intro to Wheel Throwing: Have you ever wanted to try out throwing clay on the pottery wheel? This class is for you! Intended for folks who have never done pottery before or are out of practice. In this 90 minute class you’ll receive step by step instructions and will have access to all the tools and equipment needed. Your masterpiece(s) will be glazed in the color of your choosing and will be ready for pick up about three weeks after your class.
Slab Building Projects: In this 90 minute class you’ll receive a slab of clay, a template, and all the tools you need to create your masterpiece! We will work step by step together and like the intro to wheel throwing class, your project will be glazed in the color of your choosing and will be ready for pick up about three weeks after your class.
6 Week Wheel Throwing Course: This class is beginner friendly, but all skill levels are welcomed! In this course we will cover throwing, trimming, handling, and glazing. Each class will be unique to its participants, so feel free to bring in your own ideas! Includes 25lbs of clay and more can be purchased if needed.

Memory lane, where it all started!
312 Adams Street was purchased in November of 2022 and construction started in January of 2023. I feel so honored to have been able to bring this little darling of a building back to life! Downtown Fairmont is going through a new small business renaissance and it’s so exciting to see where this area is going to be in a few short years.
